Almost Over!

I can not  believe that this is all almost over. I am so excited that words can not even begin to explain how excited and happy I am. I know complete turn-over from a day or so ago, but now that things are going smoother and not as much is changing, I can be more organized and prepared.

So Mr. Man was suppose to be home today, but he got pushed back a couple of days. Which explains why I was so upset and worked up a couple of days ago. Now that the "push back" part is over, I can get back to being happy and excited that he is so close to being home. He is no longer in Afghanistan, which makes me even more happy. To know he is somewhere more safe and probably resting up (not sure that is possible since it's hard to sleep on the move). It's so nice to know everything is progressing the way it should! So everyone be happy, happy with me!!

Today has been straight up busy, which I did on purpose. Once I realized, Mr. Man was not coming in today I scheduled a busy, busy day to keep it off my mind and get more things done for him so it would be less he would have to do. I have been going nonstop since I woke up this morning, so I am exhausted. Not complaining though, not complaining at all. I am not complaining because I know my husband is almost home!(I will apologize now for saying that 100 times in this single post. I can't help it!)

First thing I did when I woke up was fix my hair, do my makeup, and get dressed. I knew I would feel much better about myself once I achieved that (I always do!). So I took my time doing it because I knew there was no reason to be rushed.

After I got dressed and all prettied up, I came downstairs and cooked me breakfast. Nothing fantastic, but I did cook. I sat down, watched TV (which I never do!), ate breakfast, and drank some grapefruit juice. Nice relaxing, but it was hard to enjoy because I was so antsy and ready to get out and about. I ended up sweeping all the tile and hardwood floors in my house and started mopping some of them. I will finish the others tomorrow (or tonight).

After my patience ran low, and it was time to get out the house. I got my baby boy dressed and ready, called up my neighbor/friend to see if she wanted to tag along, and hit the road! (I asked my friend if she wanted to come because she took off work today, tomorrow, and Thursday thinking they would be in today. Since she took off, she had nothing to do and I did not want to leave her hanging around the house if she did not want to.) So we drove out to Thetford, drop my baby boy off to get a haircut, then went and grabbed some lunch and went shopping! First, lunch was fabulous. I love going to Pubs if it is the right pub. I have had some bad experiences, but I have also had some wonderful experiences. This was definitely one of those "I love Pubs" experience. I ordered the roast chicken with mash, peas, stuffing, and gravy. It was YUMM-O! Then to shopping... Fun, fun, fun! This girl loves to shop, and so does my friend. Perfect! We hit every store in sight, including a couple of grocery stores to stock up the houses before our guys get home. All in all, it was a grand day! We spent about 4 and half hours out and about.

By the way, our baby boy does not look like a Schnauzer anymore... *Sad face*
He does look like a Schnauzer because he is one, but I really already miss his furry self. I am going to miss the warmth he provided my toes and our wonderful warm snuggles at night when I'm cold. But I bet he is much happier this way even though he will miss his Mommy Snuggle Time. Well, at least he is not as hot (when the weather is warm).

The last couple of days it has been raining off and on, so I have not had the chance to mow. Well today it did not rain. Thankfully. It was still fairly cool this morning when we left the house, but by the time we got home, the sun was shining and it was a pretty day. I still needed a hoodie and pants, but it was none the less pretty. When we got home and unloaded the car, I told her I was going to spend the rest of the day outside. Invited her to join me if she would like. I told her I had a bottle of wine I could open if she wanted and we could just hang out. I needed to mow, so I did that. I even pulled some weeds that would normally be taken down with the weed eater. (I couldn't start it for some odd reason!) Then I we decided to wash our cars. We pulled out the supplies to do so and got to hand washing our cars. It was nice, and decently fun.

By the time we finished, it was after 7pm. I came in and decided to cut up all the fruit I had bought and put it in separate serving size tupperware, so it will be ready to go and I will not have to cut it up when we want it. Well the big things, like the pineapple, mangoes (Is there an "e" in that?), and cantaloupe. That did not take me long, but it did take up some time. I finished all the dishes while I was in the kitchen, as well! (GO ME!)

When I was done, I cooked dinner. While it was cooking, I submitted some school work and worked on some new assignments. (During all of this, I've still be drinking wine. This is where I realize I may have drank more than I have realized. Oh well, too late now, keep drinking! haha.) When dinner was done, I sat on the couch (again!) and watched TV (again!). I seriously can not believe I did that twice today. Anyway, I am just now getting done eating and am now typing this up.

Oh, and my sleeping has gotten much much better. I actually sleep through the night and fall asleep fairly quickly. My body must have realized it was all about to be over in no time... before it set in my brain ;)

I still plan on cleaning more tonight. I need to finish some clothes, hang up some clothes, possibly mop, shower, etc. It WILL all get done. Promise!

I am such on a roll. Seriously, I am! Gotta love days like these.

9:45pm--Still sipping away on this wine. I am thinking a candlelit bubble bath before bed. I should be good to go.
