If you have a Nintendo Wii, but do not have this game.. Get it! I am one of those nerds like love everything Mario. The original games and the Yoshi's Island and such.. Yep, that's me! While Mr. Man was away I treated myself to a couple of games. He gave me the Wii with a couple of games for Christmas a couple of days before he left, but we never really got to enjoy it together. Now he is home, and now this game has finally come in the mail (the volcanic ash caused a delay).
Overall, I absolutely love this game. It is a multi-player game, but you play as a team versus playing as one person, once you die it's the next person's turn. So everyone (4 controllers) can play at once on the same screen and become teammates. It's pretty neat. Mr. Man and I normally do not like the same games. For example, he likes the Socom's and the Call of Duty's. I like my Mario and Harvest Moon. Haha!!
Today, after he got finished in-processing, I decided to rip this game open and play. He was up for the challenge. We put it in and played for hours! Guilty upon charged. We played for hours! I would rather not say how many hours, but just know that it was hours! Enough said, right there. We are on world 5. There are 8 worlds just like the regular Mario's. There's the water, the sand, the snow/ice, the castles, the ghost houses, yoshi's... and the new additions! Fun, fun, fun! Seriously, it is a ton of fun!
We did take some time away to cook dinner, which was some baked chicken breasts with a mushroom sauce, rice, brussel sprouts, and corn. All fresh, all yummy! We also took the boy out to play while it was still nice outside. We did not last long because the wind has still be kicking, but we managed. The boy went running as fast and as far as he could without any hesitation. I think Mr. Man enjoyed seeing that. We played fetch and walked around. It was nice.
Buttons (our boy) has been very needy lately. He was very needy with me when Mr. Man left, but now he is needy to his Daddy. His Daddy isn't use to it, so Mr. Man kept looking at me all funny wondering what his problem was. But let me tell you, our son is the most adorable thing when he is needy. He wants our attention and only our attention. He will do what it takes to get our attention. For example, if he wants us to snuggle with him and pet him. He will squeeze his way wherever he wants to be (including right smack dab in the middle of us) and noise our hands until we start petting him or hugging him. He is the smartest dog I know (maybe I am a little prejudice since he is mine, but who knows). Today was focused around his Daddy, but when Daddy is gone, I get my fair share. Wonderful feeling, though.
I got my school work done up until Friday, so that is a plus. I won't be as tied down to the school things while Mr. Man is home. Woo hoo!
Tomorrow is a new day. One where Mr. Man does not have to go in to work. Guess what?! He said we can go on that shopping spree early. So tomorrow it is.. Shopping my little heart out! I couldn't ask for a better husband. He totally rocks my world.
Until next time my friends!
I love that game!!!!! :)
ReplyDeleteWe passed level 8 and now we're going through all the levels to make sure we got all the gold coins. It's an AWESOME game! =)
ReplyDeleteI am JEALOUS. Major shopping spree desperately needed here in GA. Seriously though, amazing husbands do in fact provide shopping sprees. MMM shopping.
