(Mil)ing It Over: PCS Edition

Hi guys!
First, I want to thank you all for hanging with me and the sweet, sweet comments and emails I have been getting. Seriously, emails galore!! I am trying to take the time to reply to each and every one of you so please be patient. If I do not make it to you all, please forgive me! I still love you, I promise!

Now, for (Mil)ing It Over.
This time around we are discussing our options of PCSing, where we would like to go and where we would like to avoid. Of course, nothing is guaranteed in the life of a military spouse, but it never stops any of us from hoping, wishing, dreaming, and maintaining!
I hope you all enjoy this quick video post.

Also, we would like to get our readers more involved, so if you have a topic or suggestion for something for us to do, please leave a comment on any our posts and we will get to it! Our Promise to you!

None of us claim to be a pro at the military lifestyle. This was created to be more personal with military spouses around the world and in the different branches. So don't be shy! You can even create your own post as to your views and opinions on what we discuss. We encourage you!

I hope you guys have a great rest of your week, and I look forward to hearing from you all.

Check out the other ladies involved!

  3. We want to go to Japan! We have a friend that had actual orders to PCS to Japan and they had to cancel them because they could not take their pup :(

  4. Thanks for doing this! I'm a new Air Force spouse and I'm still learning everything. We're at our first duty station in Cali and we love it here so far. My husband would love to go overseas!

  5. You are cute as a button. Great vlog! It sounds like you're really taking advantage of being OCONUS. :) Oh, and thanks for defining PCS. I couldn't remember it when I recorded mine. Ha!

  6. Our last base was Yokota, in Japan and for awhile I worked at the Pet Boarding Facility and dealt with PCS animals. It is a pain brining pets over, but as long as you do all the paperwork and shots and stuff in advance the quarantine is not bad. In fact the pet can fulfil its quarantine in your own house on base! The problem comes in with housing. We weren't able to bring our dog because we were put in housing that did not allow pets. Since we left they have changed those limitations and small dogs and even cats are allowed in that same housing we lived in. Not sure about the other Japan bases, but that was the case in Yokota.
