I drink coffee.....

FOR ALL THE WRONG REASONS!

I started drinking coffee about a month or two ago. Before I started, I absolutely hated it. I couldn't get myself to drink it at all. Not even with milk and sugar.

Then I came across the chilled creamers. Not the powders... gross. The liquid ones are delicious.

Mr. Man drinks coffee every day, every morning. So I got use to the smell, and I watched how he made his.

On a chilly day, I decided to give it a try with him as we ate breakfast.

I am hooked. Not because I am tired and exhausted. Although it does help.

I drink it because I love the flavors. I love the warmth during this time of year, and i love the variety of flavors the creamers have.

Yum... my favorite is the Hazelnut one.

But I continued drinking Mr. Man's leftovers every morning after I brought A to school.... because I love the flavor.

And now, here I am, a couple of months later... and I'm hooked.

One day missed of coffee and a massive headache. Shame, shame.

I never wanted this, but boy it was destined.

We all know that most teachers drink coffee. It is their energy boost to keep up with the young children they teach throughout the day. I wondered when my day would come.

Here I am, relying on coffee. Headaches are for the goonies, so I will just drink a half of a glass of coffee to subside the headaches.

Even though coffee has a lot of beneficial things that come with it, I really don't want to be reliant on it.

Should I stop drinking it? I mean it really isn't that bad, right? It's just yummy, and warm, and flavorful, and satisfying... why stop?

But I must admit that I hate knowing that my body has become use to it and I need it in order to keep caffeine headaches away. I hate that. Do I really need coffee? NO. But because I loved it so much, I now do need it every single day.

Well, hello there cool weather! Thank you for the wonderful coffee addiction. I appreciate it.

  1. I drink coffee every morning and have since i was in high school. I switched to drinking only black no sugar when i went to college because it was an easy way for me to cut out calories. Have you tried decaf? I drink both but over the tears i have found that it doesn't matter to me which one i drink.

    1. I may have to give decaf a try, but the caffeine headaches are pretty strong and painful. Thanks for the tip!
